About Me

Welcome! I'm an individual, couples, and family therapist dedicated to helping you navigate life's challenges with authenticity, curiosity, and compassion. My therapeutic approach is grounded in creating a non-judgmental, warm, and supportive space where people of all backgrounds feel seen, heard, and valued. I work together with clients to capitalize on their inherent strengths and skills, and to cultivate greater feelings of connection, authenticity, understanding, and mindfulness in their lives.

Experience

I have extensive experience in supporting clients around a broad range of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges. To learn more about my professional background and areas of experience, please click here .

Approach

My approach to therapy is a systemic, strengths-based, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and mindfulness-based framework that fosters curiosity and compassion and resists shame. I believe that the world around us profoundly shapes who we are and how we navigate our lives. By considering the broader sociocultural context and the family and social systems we interact with, I strive to understand and address the unique experiences of each client.

I am committed to engaging critically with my own and others' assumptions, challenging dominant social narratives that may limit potential solutions or changes. Together, we work to move away from limiting or destructive stories, exploring new perspectives and practical tools to foster greater self-compassion and self-acceptance.

Therapeutic Modalities

My work is informed by various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Internal Family Systems Therapy. I integrate mindfulness-based techniques across these modalities.

I have specialized training and experience in supporting couples and families through various challenges, with additional training in attachment-based and trauma-informed practices, anti-oppression frameworks, self-compassion, and sex therapy. Recognizing the importance of body-focused work in therapy, I utilize Polyvagal Theory and other body-centered strategies to help clients build healthier relationships with their nervous systems and bodies.
